40 Point Health Check
A free visual health check now could save you time, money and inconvenience later
Do you check your car every day? How often do you check your oil level? Or your brake lights? Or shock absorbers? Do you check your tyre pressures regularly? Has your car developed an annoying noise? Do you even have time to worry about this? We all lead busy lives and it’s only natural to assume all is well until something actually goes wrong.
That’s why we are offering you a free 40 point Vehicle Health Check which could save you time and money and at the very least put your mind at ease.
The service is being offered as part of a drive to ensure our customers remain safe and legal at this time of year, a time when there are high levels of breakdown and accidents due to heavy rain and slippery roads.
During the health check, our Land Rover trained and accredited technicians carry out a visual inspection on components such as tyres, brakes, lights, steering, suspension and the engine to ensure that the vehicle is in a safe and legal state. Our technicians use a ‘traffic light’ colour coded report to identify any necessary action, highlighting which items are OK, which items may need replacing in the near future, and which items, usually for safety or legal reason, require immediate attention.
By offering a free health check, we can give our customers the confidence and peace of mind that their car is safe to drive or highlight any work which needs to be carried out now or in the near future. This allows you to budget for any expenditure and prepare for the work to be carried out at a convenient time rather than taking you by surprise.
Lindacre Visual Healthcheck for Land Rovers
Our Land Rover trained technicians will complete a visual examination of the 40 items that form the Lindacre Visual Healthcheck. This includes key safety items inside and outside your vehicle, such as brakes, tyres, lights, bodywork, steering and suspension.
A Visual Healthcheck Report is completed and every item checked is classified into one of three categories; green, amber or red.
Green: everything appears to be okay
Great news, your vehicle is in good health.
Amber: work needed soon – before next scheduled visit
A concern has been identified that needs attention – not immediately but in the near future. This will enable you to plan and budget to have the work done.
Red: urgent work – dangerous, illegal or defective
A problem has been identified that could have safety implications, or could lead to bigger repair bills in the near future. It is recommended that you have this work carried out as a matter of urgency.
Should we identify any areas requiring urgent attention, you will be provided with a fully inclusive price to carry out the repair using Genuine Land Rover Parts. With your approval, we will carry out the work immediately, or book your car into our service department at another time convenient to you.
When you collect your vehicle, you will be given a copy of the Lindacre Visual Healthcheck report*, giving you total peace of mind about the condition of your vehicle. This way you can be assured that whenever you visit Lindacre Land Rover Service Centre, you know your vehicle is in safe hands.
*This report is the result of a visual examination of selected items only. It is not a representation of a vehicle’s roadworthiness. Further checks may be necessary to determine the exact extent of any repair required.
